Outer Shell:

This determines the mitt’s resistance to wear and tear.

• Genuine Leather (often Cowhide): The most durable and highest quality option. It is typically more expensive and molds to the holder’s hand over time.
• Synthetic Leather (PU, Vinyl): A more affordable and common choice. It is easier to clean but generally offers less long-term durability than genuine leather under heavy use.

Inner Padding:

This provides crucial shock absorption for both the boxer and the trainer.

• Multi-Layered Foam (often EVA Foam): The standard filling, using different densities to effectively disperse impact force and protect the hand/wrist joints.
• Gel Inserts: Sometimes integrated into the foam to enhance shock absorption and cushion the trainer’s palm.

Hand Compartment & Grip:
